TV saved Article Published in The Gulf Today,on 31.Dec11.(232rd Article.)

I was taking rest on the first floor when I heard a sound downstairs. I rushed to see some children exiting from the main gate.

When asked, they apologised saying that they were playing cricket and the ball had hit the window. Just near the window is a brand new TV I had bought recently in the UAE.

I love the UAE and this TV is hence precious. I thanked God that it was saved. I love children, but wish they would play in open grounds and not near residences.

Life is Beautiful 92.

After a good lunch Ram and Kathambari reached Ram's Hotel.
Kathambari.Ram,you take rest. I will come at 5-30P.M. and take you to that ,suspense place.
Ram.O.K.I will be ready at 5-30.After her departure Ram came to his room.seen that day's mails in his Laptop..Murthy has written a mail,asking about health,and stay.
After spending few Minutes Ram went to sleep.Exactly at 4-30,he got up,again checked the mails.This time he got mails from Prasanna and Raj.Ram was happy about the mails.
Where ever Ram goes mails will follow from this friends.In this world  the best ship is friend ship,and Ram was lucky enough to get good friends.Atrue friend will not only share the happiness but also sufferings.Ram has friends like that.Even though he left few days,but received two mails from them.This shows how much Love and affection this friends ,got for Ram.By that time Waiter brought tea with snacks for Ram. After the tea ,he dressed up and came to the reception counter waiting for Kathambari.
Exactly 5-30.P.M.Kathambari arrived.Hello Ram,hope you have taken rest.
Ram.Yes.How about of having a cup of tea.

Tribute to Writer Sakthi T.K.Krishnasamy.(174).

To day i am going to pen ,another interesting film personality,who is known for his powerful dialogues ,is none other then Writer SakthiT.K.Krishnasamy.Four decades back he was not only powerful in the film industry but also powerful in his dialogues was not a exaggerated one.His film Veerapandia Kattabomman was created a big impact ,won the award in the Cairo film festival ,if i remember correct.He was associated with B.R.Pantulu,the late Producer Director for many films.Ihave seen few films of this writer,those films are,Veera Pandia Katta Bomman,Karnan,Padagoti,Panam padaithavan and Panakara kudumbam.Some films i forgot.Siviji Ganesan's brilliant action and dialoque delivery both in Veera Pandia Katta bomman and Karnan ,still in front of me.He was worked with R.R.Pictures,Producer Director for few films.M.G.R.acted three films of this Doyen.He is one of the few Versatile and Powerful writers of the 70's.All the today's top class actors acted in his films.To day i am very happy to tribute this Stalwart.Only the films i have seen,iam mentioning here.Error is regretted.

Letter Published in The National,Uae on 26.Dec11. The article Police warn of hire cars with no insurance (December 25) was both interesting and worrying. Driving a car without insurance is a criminal offence and people who are driving must make sure that they have coverage.

Most of the car rental companies should be also be made to follow proper procedures. They should check the validity period of the insurance periodically to avoid this type of situation. If they don’t, the authorities concerned should also monitor car rental companies more strictly to ensure they apply the right insurance measures, or be punished.

During my morning walk in Chennai, I saw a local train pass by and a childhood incident flashed back in my memory. When I was a student, I used to travel by the suburban train to school. Once, my father had given me a few coins as pocket money.

I kept the coins in my shirt pocket and held them carefully. However, while alighting, someone pushed me and the coins fell. I had not carried my lunch box to school that day hoping to eat outside.

Without the coins, all I could do was take four cups of water from the school tap instead of lunch.

Today i am going to Pen , another interesting Personality who has done a Great work in Tamil Literature as Well in Movies is none other then Late Rangarajan,Popularly Known as Sujatha.Started his career with Civil Aviation Department Later Served in Bharat Electronics Ltd ,Bangalore for Many years.Known for his Fiction Stories ,Short Stories,and Many Novels.Apart from this he was associated in the popular weekly Magazines Kumudam,and Vikatan is important.He has worked with Top class Directors Like Mani Ratnam for Roja and Shankar for his movies.Those films are ,Anniyan,Indian,Muthalvan,Enthiran,and Shivaji is worth to be mentioned here.He has his own Style of writing Powerful Dialoques which no one can deny.Ihave seen few films of this stalwart.Those films are Indian,Shivaji,Muthalvan,and Enthiran.If i am right Karaiellam Senbagapu was his Master piece.Soft spoken Sujatha was liked both from the Literary field and Film fraternity.Even though he is not with us his fictions,and memorable stories and Novels in front of us.Incidently he has spent many years in the famous SriRangam,Where Lord Ranganatha is situated.Today i am Very Happy to tribute this Great Stalwart.There are Many more things i might have left ,for this Doyen,since few things only i remember.

Inspections key to prevent fires Letter Published in The NationalUAE on 14,Oct11.

This is with reference to your article Large fire breaks out at Dubai chemical factory (October 12). The incident took place in a food and chemicals factory in the Dubai Investment Park area. The losses have not been assessed yet and it was good the authorities managed to control the fire.

Fire accidents used to be common in the industrial area of Sharjah because of poor house keeping and non-compliance with fire safety regulations.

Authorities began to inspect the area and the incidents were reduced significantly. But in spite of the safety measures taken by the authorities, this incident happened.

Authorities should have regular inspections to avert such incidents in the future.

This report was a good read (‘Cancer cases on the rise in region’, Gulf News, October 9). The UAE showing an increase in cancer patients is sad. The main attributing factor, I believe, is high-calorie food intake and not late detection. Even though many awareness campaigns are running, people are still not taking it seriously. Earlier, breast cancer was common among women, now many men are reported to have other forms of cancer. One should be careful when it comes to food habits and everyone should follow these campaigns — it may reduce these numbers.

Almost every day I get SMS messages from my bank asking me to opt for Internet banking. Most of my friends are using this facility to pay utility bills. I am hesitating to do so for health reasons.

Many incidents like this have happened earlier in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Parents should never leave their children alone near the windows. Flats should provide grills to avoid such type of accidents. The Municipality should check all the flats and see that all the windows have been fitted with grills.

The news story titled, ‘Chidambaram offers to quit’ (KT/ Sept 27) was interesting to read. The recent allegations on the Indian Home Minister regarding his involvement in the 2G Scam, as per the office memorandum from the present Finance Ministry.
His resignation offer was refused by the Party Chief Sonia Gandhi. However this allegation should be sorted out once the touring Prime Minister Manmohan Singh returns. One by one, varied allegations are coming out which is not a good sign for the UPA government and will be a threat to them for the rest of their tenure.

This is in reference to the demise of Pataudi — it was sad and painful to read. He was one of the most stylish batsmen I have come across — he led the Indian cricket team for many years. He was also the youngest captain of the Indian team. This is a great loss for cricket. May his soul rest in peace.

Tribute to CinematoGrapher N.K.Ekambaram.(161).

To day i am going to pen,another interesting film personality from the South indian film industry is none other then CinematoGrapher N.K.Ekambaram.Known for his Wonderful Out door frame work,as well indoor.He has contributed in Four Languages films,Tamil,Hindi ,Telugu and Malayalam with Popular Directors association .He won National award for his film Iyarkaiis worth to be mentioned .I have seen few films of this talented Cinematographer .Those films are Kanthaswamy,Sura,Pori ,Tamilan,and Beautiful De Dana Dan,with Dirtctor Priya Darsan(Hindi)captured the Beautiful Locations Of Singapore,with wonderful Team of actors Akshaya Kumar ,Paresh Rawal,and SunilShetty.I have seen the Places where this Cinematographer shotin Singapore.To day i am happy to tribute this Up coming Cinematographer.

A handsome and stylish batsman, he led the Indian cricket team for many years.

He is the youngest captain of the Indian team, although he lost one eye in a tragic accident.

His death was a great loss to the cricket world.

Your article, Obama says Palestinians using wrong forum,,was interesting to read.Palestinians are tired on the Peace talks through the US.More then three decades this talk is going on ,with out any Concrete solution.Earlier former Brish Prime Minister's intervention also nothing has come out.Today the Present US President was telling Palestinians using wrong forum.This will continue ,unless and until Israel should come forward with open minded.Interfering by the US may not yield any solution,which was more visible in the Past.
